Did You Know: that one of our bloggers recently picked off 4 different buyers off their undressed blog? aS OF LAST FRIDAY 2 WERE UNDER CONTRACT.
Did You Know: that Kathleen and I have been using our blog as a way to meet local business people – and that the marketing director of one just asked me to list her condo and sell her a home with a yard her dog can run around in?
Did you know: That thanks to being a part of our network, even if you haven’t been writing lately your blog gets more Google powerful everyday anyway? Mark Clawson of Summerlin Undressed just proved that. After many months of not writing he started up again. I went in and wrote a mystery post and found it on page one for 2 searches and page 2 for two more just 30 minutes after posting the article.
Did you know: that a new popular book “Realty Blogging” will help you get it, even though you thought you already got it, and maybe bought it but didn’t get it? Buy it – the book that is. The book was written by executives of a company that came out the same time we did – charging $500.00 a month for their blog plus training. Buy it anyway…..
But for those of you who like to see and learn we are going to start a series of webinars: The first will be next Wednesday May 13th and 11AM and the Friday after that May 15th at 1PM. Several of our super stars have offered to train you on items from basic blogging, to Flickr, to how to use your blog to make real estate sales, and I will pop in with how to blog for Google. I will be forwarding the links to these sessions a few days before they go live.
We look forwarding to helping you step it up. Don’t miss out on these as your blogging colleagues care about your success.
PS: Issaquah Undressed is nearing its 3rd complete year and do we dominate our local market online. You can too.
PSS: If you dropped out, perhaps its time to drop back in.

Many want to know what the big differences are in our blog/network approach to a website. Here is my take on it.
No worrying about SEO costs to a blog: There is SEO (Search Engine Optimization) but in our network we are thankful for the technology and the fact Google likes good content. The tecnology and our template builders were considering SEO. We don’t worry about tricks, phantom sites, and other things just to out think Google.
As the bulk of search engines value what you write, how often you write, what you tag and categorize, the content in your site just writing normal interesting topic has a long term power for the search engines. We are finding that as Issaquah Undressed has about 500 articles written over 2.75 years, almost every topic we now write about puts that topic on page one of Google. This gives us the confidence that our writing on most topics will help us be found by searchers.
Easy of adding articles: Webmasters go away. We don’t need you. It is important to write new content often and regularly. Some of our posts are inspired by a great photo. In minutes a photo and a 100 plus word article can be up in minutes.
Sticky: Websites tend to be self serving and therefore boring. We teach be interesting and relevant. Blogs are sticky. People stay and visit different pages. At least that happens on our network blogs. For example, yesterdays stats show that the average viewer visited 27 pages. That is not going to happen on a website.
Consistency: Using Issaquah Undressed as an example again: The more you write on a blog, the longer you write the more power you have with the search engines.
The network: Part of the network is the brand. Each article, each new blogger getting exposure, each time a new visitor hits the network the message of our model and brand is planted. In other words, the future brings even stronger benefits to each of us. Last week we added 5 blogs. Thank you from all of us new bloggers. Also, you are welcome. Each of us has prepared the way for you to have a stronger start than we did.
We help fellow network members: For example, Matt Thomson of Gig Harbor Undressed quickly added this point on Interactive..
Interactive: Customers can leave testimonials, ask questions, give new ideas, etc. Also, the flexibility of a blog is endless. You can advertise using coupons, special deals, photos, videos, stories about your top employee, community involvement that you or your emplees do. It is ever changing and limitless as to what you can do.

It is after one has to dig in, scrimp, and struggle to make ends meet that the are forced to do some self analysis. We all have experienced that feeling I am sure. When we had it good it was easy to be lax, right?
I don’t mean lax as in LAX, rather lax as in careless.

Irregardless of the state of your business here are two claims I make about the undressed network. 1- If you will use its power (not just sign up) it can be the most effective marketing money you spend. Time is money and thus my claim includes spending your time. 2- If you will get off your duff the undressed network can help you more effectively than any other marketing tool available to you.
Most of our participants are real estate agents. Regular businesses are figuring us out and starting to join us. Real Estate agents, frankly are being forced to change. Change careers, change how they market, change how they spend their money. Those that choose to survive and those that join our network and use it can embed themselves into their local community in a powerful and unique way. We can show how we are using our undressed blog to replace the commission money we used to get with new revenue while building our real estate future. Being active is a good use of time, we help make that easy and natural.
Most businesses spend money advertising. All businesses should take a look at our network. Join us – call Larry at 206.618.3724 or email larrykcragun(@)yahoo.com
