Do You Control Search In Your Market? I Control Mine.
Below are some of the words and phrases where our Issaquah blogs show up the first page of Google.
Our focus is on Issaquah and Issaquah Highlands Washington. Both sites have brought us business. One important benefit of what we do is Google, Yahoo, and other search engines. Sometimes we write an article and find ourselves in Google 30 minutes later. It is pretty amazing. The smaller market Issaquah Highlands (still a great market) is easier to reach the first page than the city of Issaquah. However over the months we are getting stronger and stronger in both.
I post a list that is partial, but makes the point of the power of what we do. All of these have brought people to the site. Some have emailed us that they will use us some day, some have phoned. Many have bought or listed with us. Many more are in our pipleline.
We call the long tail, the less common search key words. Note however, the long tail is possibly more valuable than the short tail (the hot real estate words). That is because they are more numerous.
With one exception, we list here only the searches that today, December 20th 2007 we show up on the front page. One of them, an Issaquah Highlands Community we are 9 of the 10 search results on page 1. Many have us multiple times on page 1. It is truly the most important marketing tool out there.
