We believe if you build a good network they will come!  We have been building a network of blogs that have garnered much national attention—RealEstateUndressed.com, NeighborhoodsUndressed.com and local blogs such as IssaquahUndressed.com. They are the first part of our CiUn Network—Consumer Information Undressed Network.

RealEstateUndressed.com and the others mentioned are blogs that post newinformation often for the consumers benefit on those subjects. The blogs allow for comments and interaction from the public (very 2.0)! On RealEstateUndressed the information is dispensed as serious information accompanied by the wit and humor of Larry Cragun. It is sometimes opinionated and controversial, but never in bad taste.

NeighborhoodsUndressed.com will be a major part of our network and will be a national directory of neighborhood websites and more.

Local sites such as IssaquahUndressed.com are different. These blogs are for the purpose of promoting the positive, good and unique qualities of your town or neighborhood, including area real estate information and you the agent. They will benefit from the links of all central sites and as the lists of neighborhoods grow they will benefit from the popularity of the Undressed Network name. People remember the name. It tells what we do even though it is slightly quirky; that is - expose the characteristics of these neighborhoods.

We at CiUn Inc are excited to welcome or invite you to learn to blog about your town with us.  While we anticipate a lengthy relationship with our agent sponsors the arrangement is a month to month advertising relationship, promoting the sponsor and other advertisers. There are performance and standard requirements. These being upheld are in your best interests. Our commitment is to develop and maintain a network of blog websites that will build consumer loyalty. An example of these requirements is that the content is G rated and if you sign up for a neighborhood you have to maintain it or lose it. More on that later.  Please continue reading the reasons you will want to participate……….

This is Why We Believe You Will Want to Participate

  • Provide the highest quality of local content for the consumer. It will be current and extensive. It will be a service to the community.
  • Provide all agent sponsors a forum that attracts the consumer to do business with the local agent, community expert.
  • Provide the consumer the best opportunity to have a good mortgage and real estate experience.
  • Provide a tool that helps you embrace your community and that will open doors of opportunity for you within the community.
  • Provide a nationwide website network to search for homes by our directing the consumer to our agent websites.
  • Provide the agent a way to use the website to catch the attention of any and all they meet.
  • Provide a user friendly experience, non offensive to all shoppers, with a standard look and feel from site to site, but with the voice and personality of the sponsor agent and different character of each community.
  • Provide customers with reasons to go directly to you, the agent and other advertisers; no lead fee, no commission splitting. You have the credibility.
  • Benefit in natural traffic from the national websites, RealEstateUndressed.com, and NeighborhoodsUndressed.com. Using these websites to gather traffic and send customers to the communities they are interested in, provides tens of thousand of links versus a few that an individual site will have. This will grow exponentially as additional communities are brought on line.

The Issaquah Undressed.com blog is our prototype. Even though it may change and evolve, it provides a standard with the necessary elements. If you believe, as we do, that community involvement is important for agents or loan officers i.e. joining the Chamber of Commerce (and going to their meetings and events) the brochure and your blog content will create the desire for cooperation between you  and those you approach. It will be a tool in making contacts easily. If you are promoting the community and not just yourself they will promote and support you. Word about your blog and your services will spread. The following items should be on every site: These will be a service to those who visit your site and as the neighborhood undressed network expands it will draw people to the sites. People will learn to know that information will be there for them.

The following are required elements (See Explained Required Elements for more detail)

1. Promotion of Town/Neighborhood

2. Links to local information

3. Photographs that show communities character

          4. Posts that draw attention to upcoming events or areas

5. Categories

6. Search the MLS for homes/links to agents page and lender or lenders

 7. Slide Show and a description of the community—always at the beginning of the blog

 8. Area Real Estate information

 9. The brochure

Explained Required Elements

1-     Promotion of town or neighborhood: This is the most important. All others should support your blog in showing viewers near and far what your community is like.

2-     Links to local information: Traffic Cams, clubs, chamber of commerce, schools, parks, historical society, etc. (these are good examples). Each town has unique things that would be here – many possibilities. The bulk of the content you provide is to be about the community. You should strive to make it broad in coverage.

3-     Photographs: As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. They can see what the town or community looks like, what the houses look like, pictures of events that take place, etc. See IssaquahUndressed.com. Nobody likes to read laborious articles.

4-     Posts that draw attention to upcoming events: The terminology for articles you write, short or long, is posting or post. As you post about current events you make the site a resource, inviting people to “stay tuned” and come back often. This does not mean you are a calendar for every event or that this is the main focus.

5-     Categories: Each post should be categorized. You will find that old posts will be relevant to people as they come to the site to research a particular subject. Each new post pushes the existing post down, the current post being on the top. People will peruse from page to page but often prefer to look by category.

6-     Search the MLS for homes: This still remains one of the top reasons people use the internet. You must provide a search as part of your participation. This would be a link to your agent webpage. Your search must not require registration. You can require registration for advanced features such as HomeQuest or email of favorites. Until they are ready, consumers search where they can remain anonymous. We want them to be loyal to you and the network, not a lead snagger site. The concept that the search data belongs to the agent is supported in our approach. Thus we don’t charge lead fees or take a part of the sale. We gather the customer by quality information and a powerful network and send them to the agents that work the market they seek to live in. That will be you.

7-     Slide show and a description of the community will always be at the beginning of the blog. This makes it a hybrid between a website and a blog. Non bloggers, of which there are many, will be more comfortable. Visitors will always know what the site is about.

8-     Area Real Estate Information:  It will be evident that you are in the real estate business by your advertisements and a link to your website. One of the reasons the internet is so popular is people like the soft sell approach. If it looks like a giant sales job by you rather than a community site, people will leave and not return. However, local real estate is a major topic. You will have data they are interested in such as days on market for current listings. Use this data to draw interest and your credibility. One of our supporters provides certain data on the same day each month and finds surges in hits on those days. You can stay in this theme by occasionally dropping in a new listing. Have your current listings on your agent site which can be linked from the blog.

9-     The brochure: This is a tri-fold brochure that is a tool that will be used to approach people, merchants, and organizations about displaying them, advertising the blog etc. It invites all to visit your community blog. It will open the doors of opportunity for you within the community. We will provide an example or a template. You do not have to use ours.

About You: As you writer your posts people will come to know you. You will be their friend in the computer. You will become a trusted local expert. This doesn’t mean you need to open up your entire life to the public, but your voice and personality should shine through. This will develop as you blog.

The Voice of Authority: You don’t need to brag about yourself but should be the voice of authority. Experts in blogging almost unanimously say the most important factor in acquiring readership is the voice of authority on an interesting topic. Your voice will be about your community, your career in real estate and that will show through. You are the expert on these two topics, and these two topics are where you will shine. If you spend time on IssaquahUndressed.com (there are hundreds of articles) or even RealestateUndressed.com you will see what is meant even though they have different focuses. People call and email for advice because they feel confident. They will call you to purchase or list a home, believing they know you because of these phenomena.

The more you blog the more you will like it, the more ideas you will have, the easier it becomes. It is not a burden, but a fun thing to do!
